First Baby of the Year Contest

The UAW-Delphi Child Care Committee is again searching for the first baby of the year born to a UAW-represented employee.

The prize will include dinner for the parents, parenting books, child care information, and child care products. If your child was born on or after January 1, 2005, call the Child Care Office at 5424. If your baby’s birth date is the earliest, your prize will be delivered to you.

Not everyone can have the first baby of the year, but a book, calendar, and infant health and care information are available to all new parents.

Only parents are eligible for the First Baby of the Year prize. However, grandparents are eligible to receive brochures and information. Grandparents may also check out books on infant and child care.
Also, if you need child care for your baby or older child, please call 5424. The Child Care Service will assist you to find licensed care for your child.

So call the Child Care Office at 5424 if you have a new baby in your family. The consultant will be happy to supply you with information and assist you in checking out books relating to infant care.
