Alabama State CAP Essay Contest
It’s time again for the annual Alabama State CAP Essay contest. This annual event provides valuable scholarship money to Alabama high school seniors. In addition to the scholarship, it gives these students an opportunity to learn more about the history of labor.

Good education is essential in order to build a better tomorrow for everyone. The Alabama State CAP recognizes the impact the cost of higher education can have on students wishing to further their education. As a result, they sponsor this contest each fall. The Essay Contest has been held since 1982.

The contest is open to all students scheduled to graduate from an Alabama High School and planning to attend an accredited college or university as a full time student commencing with the fall term of 2002.
