The newly elected officers of UAW Local 2195 were sworn in at the membership meeting on June 19, 2004. UAW Region 8 Assistant Director Donny Bevis was on hand to do the honors. Following the ceremony the new officers took their positions and conducted the business of the local.

To those leaving office we extend our thanks to them for their service over the past three years. We also welcome the new officers and encourage everyone to support them as together we work to secure the future of the site and the livelihood of our families. The marketplace continues to place challenges to each location, with ours being no exception. Additionally, the laws of this country keep changing to favor big business while placing pressure on working Americans. Many of our issues must be fought at the bargaining table, but there are also many that must be settled at the ballot box. Come election time this November, we should all vote for candidates that will support working families.
