The UAW Local 2195 Antique Engine and Tractor
Show was held on May 6 and 7, 2005 on the grounds of Local 2195. This
was the 11th annual Antique Engine and Tractor show and featured a wide
array of antique farming machinery.
This year’s show also drew a large number of spectators, who filled
the grounds to view these mechanical marvels from a bygone era.
The 2005 version of the show also featured a stock garden tractor pull,
which brought in a number of sightseers as well. Garden tractor pulls
are a fast growing spectator sport, and this was evident from the number
of folks who showed up to participate and watch the games.
“We
would like to thank everyone who worked to help make this year’s
show another success,” states Larry Lemmond. “We are already
looking forward to next year and encourage all antique engine and tractor
enthusiast to start making plans.”
