The Local 2195 Basketball team recently completed another season in the Decatur City Industrial Basketball league. The team was hoping for a three-peat in the season ending tournament but came up just short, falling to rival UAW Local 1413 in the finals. The tournament capped a season where the team overcame injuries and schedule issues to finish 8-7.

Earnest “E.T.” Torain once again served as coach of the team and praised their efforts. “We didn’t do as well this year, but we had some key injuries that kept some of the guys off the court. Plus, getting everyone there for all the games made it rough sometimes, but we still had a good season.”

So here’s to UAW Local 2105’s round ball heroes. Congratulations on another great year!
